Advantage 250™ Concrete Batch Plant

Introducing the Advantage 250™ Concrete Batch Plant from CMQ Engineering. This is a complete turnkey concrete mixing plant and batching machine that combines precision in-line aggregate blending with CMQ’s Fast Cement™ chisel-nose silo delivery system for consistent high-quality concrete production at 250 yards per hour. Our engineers looked at the design of a typical repose batching system and improved upon it to decrease truck blending time, which saves on fuel costs.

The Advantage 250™ is one of our flagship products and we are very proud of what our team of engineers have accomplished. Features include highly accurate VFD controlled weigh belts, ultra-durable CMQ shut-off gates, pulse filter cement weigh hopper to prevent stale cement, and available telescoping discharge chutes to accommodate both front and rear discharge cement trucks. You are not going to find another concrete mixing plant that beats the Advantage 250™ in terms of quality, ability, and technology.

Advantage 250™ Concrete Mixing Plant Features

  • Fast – 250 yards per hour production capacity, VFD controlled belts, weighed water, Fast Cement™.
  • Accurate – each bin has its own weigh belt system.
  • Uniformity – belt feeds allow precise blending capabilities.
  • Clean & Green – less dust and lower energy consumption.
  • Cement – precision mix design capability will reduce your overall cement cost.

Aggregate Bins

Each aggregate bin used for the Advantage 250™ concrete mixing plant has its own weigh belt scale system that is extremely accurate and easily calibrated. We were able to eliminate tradition clam-shell bin gates, resulting in greatly reduced dust and noise from free-falling material. The lead bin of this multi-bin system discharges moist sand onto the weigh belts, encapsulating all coarse aggregates to reduce dust in the loading process.

Aggregates are uniformly blended in ribboned layers, and then discharged from the weigh belts to the collector conveyor below.

Moisture probes are located above material flows giving fast, accurate corrections for moisture control during batching.

Portable 5 bin aggregate system with belt weighers.

Aggregate Bins Feature

  • 3, 4, or 5 bin models available
  • Basic bin capacity: 30 tons heaped
  • No clam-shell discharge gates
  • Lower maintenance costs
  • Less noise. Less dust.

Conveyors with Ribboned Layers of Aggregate

Aggregates that have been precision blended in ribboned layers are discharged from the aggregate blending unit to the charging conveyor. This is a unique and superior system of pre-blending compare with a typical repose batching machine.

All CMQ Conveyors Have:

  • Sealed bearings, requiring minimum maintenance.
  • Unique designed inclined troughing roller and return roller system which fits standard troughing frames.
  • 1-3/16’’ gap between roller and frame, eliminating rock jamming.

Weighed Aggregate Holding Hopper

Blended aggregates are discharged from the charging conveyor into the aggregate holding weigh hopper. The holding hopper is large enough to hold a full load and provides weight verification for high accuracy.

Chisel Nose Cement Silos

The Advantage 250™ concrete mixing plant incorporates CMQ Engineering’s trademarked Fast Cement™ system, which includes our chisel nose silos that generate fast and even discharge of cement. Traditional silo cones leave old cement stuck to the sides. As fresher cement spirals down through the middle of traditional silos, the build-up continues and the old cement ages as it remains unused — all this results in discharge speed that get progressively slower.

This will never be the case with our Fast Cement™ system. CMQ chisel nose designed silos ensures that the first load of cement put in the silo will be the first load to come out of it – FIRST IN, FIRST OUT. This makes for a batching machine that always operates smoothly and at peak efficiency.

Cement Shutoff Gates.

CMQ’s specially designed proprietary 1/2-rotary cement shutoff gates are more accurate, faster, and have a longer service life with less maintenance than the competition.
